Gemma Reynolds is pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. But with one semester left in graduate school, the bills are piling up and she can’t pay her tuition. The scholarship she’s counted on from her employer may soon be gone.
This year the hospital where Gemma works is sponsoring a bachelorette Valentine’s Day auction, where the highest bidder wins one dance. Begrudgingly, Gemma agrees to step on the auction block in hopes of replenishing the scholarship fund. With only a few women up for grabs, it will be a miracle if the hospital reaches its goal.
Jack Holt is a busy man, crushed by the obligations of running his family’s company. He has little time for anything other than work. But when it comes to his family, he can’t say no. Helping them in their time of need isn’t a question, but finding a solution this time may be impossible. Until an unlikely stranger walks through the door. If she says yes, it will be a miracle.
